01英国短毛猫British Shorthair

英国短毛猫简称“英短”，是英国最常见的品种之一。毛色种类繁多，其中最常见的是蓝灰色，也就是我们平时说的“蓝猫”。著名的枕边读物《爱丽丝梦游仙境》中那只会笑会说话、喜欢恶作剧的柴郡猫，就是作者根据英短的形象设计出来的。

外貌：Chunky body, dense coat and broad face

性格：Easygoing, moderately active, sweet-natured and devoted to their owners

02美国短毛猫American Shorthair

美国短毛猫是地地道道的“移民”。据说，当年欧洲移民乘坐“五月花号”前往北美，为了除鼠，就随船携带了几只猫——它们便是美短的祖先。

外貌：Round faces, short ears, large, powerfully-built body

性格：Moderate, not too active, nor too sedate, affectionate with owners and social with strangers, great couch cats and will happily follow their caregiver from room to room

03异国短毛猫Exotic Shorthair

异国短毛猫就是大名鼎鼎的“加菲猫”，是美国短毛猫与波斯猫交配繁育出的一个品种。

外貌：Short, broad nose with pronounced stop, round face, full cheeks, round and large eyes, short and thick neck

性格：Gentle, calm, curious and playful, don’t like being left alone and need the presence of their owner

他们会摆出让你无法抗拒的眼神来渴求你的关注。它们会跳到你的腿上打盹，或者把鼻子凑到你的脸上。

04波斯猫Persian Cats

波斯猫是最常见的长毛猫之一。因为它们长相甜美，举止优雅，所以素有“猫中王子”、“王妃”的称号。我们常说的金吉拉就是波斯猫的一种。

外貌：Extremely long and thick coat, short legs, a wide head with the ears set far apart, large eyes, and an extremely shortened muzzle

性格：Quiet, typically placid in nature, adapts quite well to apartment life

05苏格兰折耳猫Scottish Fold

苏格兰折耳猫由于基因突变，天生具有骨骼缺陷，它们的软骨部份有一个折，使耳朵向前屈折，并指向头的前方。也正因如此，这种猫患有先天患有骨科疾病，时常用坐立的姿势来缓解痛苦。

外貌：Medium-sized, folded ears, large, round eyes and rounded head, cheeks

性格：Good natured, placid, intelligent, attached to their human caregivers and adjust to other animals within a household extremely well

06布偶猫Ragdoll Cats

布偶猫发源于美国，又称“布拉多尔猫”，是一种杂交品种。是现存体型最大、体重最重的猫之一。外形美丽优雅，性格温顺粘人，被称为“猫中的狗”、“小狗猫”。

外貌：A sturdy body, large frame, and proportionate legs, blue eyes

性格：Docile, calm and floppy nature，affectionate, intelligent

08暹罗猫Siamese Cats

暹罗猫是一种短毛猫，常被称为“小煤球”。它们的祖先一直被养在泰国的皇宫和大型寺庙中，是足不出户的贵族猫。

外貌：An elongated, tubular, and muscular body and a triangular head, almond-shaped eyes, long neck, a slender tail

09孟加拉豹猫Bengal Cats

如果说布偶猫是猫中的“女王”， 那么孟加拉豹猫就是猫中的“野孩子”。他们继承了豹猫的野性美，永远精力充沛。

性格：Energetic, active and playful, curious, confident, like playing, chasing, climbing and investigating
